Clinical Supervision

A collaborative space for your growth as a therapist

At Velvet & Vine, clinical supervision is more than oversight — it’s a relationship of deep trust, mutual exploration, and creative becoming. Whether you’re pre-licensed or fully licensed, our supervision is rooted in reflective practice, queer-affirming values, and a commitment to your unfolding path as a clinician.

  • The emotional, political, and somatic layers of your work

Our Approach

Supervision at Velvet & Vine honors the whole of you — not just your clinical mind, but your nervous system, your lived experience, and your artistry as a practitioner. We draw from:

  • Liberation psychology
  • Somatic and relational modalities
  • Queer, trans, and feminist frameworks
  • Anti-oppressive and decolonial thought
  • Deep imagination and creative reflection

This is a place to be both held and challenged — with kindness.

Words from Supervisees

Supervision with Velvet & Vine gave me room to breathe and root. I felt witnessed as a whole person, not just a clinician.
— M., Associate Therapist

This space helped me name what I didn’t learn in grad school — the relational and political labor of being a queer therapist.”
— J., LPC
